We pick you up from your resort and take you to the harbour of Zakynthos Town. The ferryboat leaves at 8:00 a.m.
Approximately one and a half hour later, we reach Kyllini Port at Peloponnesus peninsula . Our destination is northeast, travelling along the coast and through the beautiful landscapes of Peloponnesus. On our way you will see a lot of beautiful touristic resorts, mainly occupied by Greek tourists and visitors from the highest elevations of Peloponnesus.
After a coffee stop at Aegio, we will drive till the famous Canal of Corinth for lunch. Maybe you are lucky and a boat is passing through the canal while you are taking photos.
At approx. 15:00p.m. we will arrive to our hotel “Dorian Inn” in Athens. The difference of our hotel is that is a Four Star Category hotel and is situated in the center of Athens, where from there you have the chance to see Acropolis. Also, you can enjoy its modern amenities (air-condition, satellite TV, radio, room service, roof garden, a luxurious swimming pool, restaurant). An American type of breakfast is served and included in the price.
For a Bouzouki-Night we will go to a restaurant in Plaka, where you can enjoy your dinner while listening to Greek live music, watching traditional Greek dancers and enjoying greek food. Do not miss the chance to entertain like Greeks do. Dance with us under the rhythm of Zorbas!
The return to the hotel is at midnight.
On the second day, after our delicious American breakfast, we depart early in the morning for sightseeing tour, guided by a Tour guide from Athens. On this tour you will see the Changing of the guards, the Olympic Stadium “Kalimarmaro”, the Zappion, the University, the Olympic Columns & the Hadrian’s Triumphal Arch, the Philopappou-Hill, Monastiraki and the Temple of Hephastios, also known nowadays as Thission. Our excursion continues with the visit to Acropolis. After our visit to Acropolis you can spend time at “Plaka” and Monastiraki, where there an oriental bazaar is taking place.
At 12:00p.m. we leave Athens. Our next stop is at the famous Channel of Corinth. You will have enough time to take photos, drink a coffee or have your lunch. Our next stop, as we are heading back is at Patra. There you will have the chance to visit St. Andrews’ Church, which is the biggest one in Balkans.
The ferryboat to Zakynthos departs at approximately 17:30p.m. At about 19:30p.m. you will be back to your resort.
The price includes the transfer, the tour guiding and the hotel accommodation, along with the American breakfast.
